Marathon Venture Academy students will be participating in the Ron Chellevold Memorial Track & Field Meet on Wednesday, May 18. áThe meet will begin at 11:15 a.m. on the Marathon High School Track. The rain date is scheduled for Thursday, May 19..

Coffee Sale Benefits "We Help War Victims"
The MAES office has Laotian Coffee for sale this week! Benefits will go to the "WE HELP WAR VICTIMS"ágroup led by former Weston Elementary Principal Jim Harris. áEach year, Harris spends approximately 3-6 months of the year detonating ordnance embedded and hidden beneath the soil in Laos. áEach year, hundreds of innocent child and adults are injured or killed as they inadvertently step on ordnance remaining from the Vietnam War. The coffee is grown by the villagers. áHarris serves as an expert for MVA during theáBecoming Americanálearning expedition every 3 years.
